15 Feb 26 - Early Signs of Spring - Half term trail at The Hawthorns

 

A great opportunity for all ages! 

 

Please see the latest poster for the first engagement event of the year at the Hawthorns on Southampton Common.  SCC Lead Ranger Dawn Bannantyne explains: "We will be opening the Hawthorns as usual on Sundays and the Wednesday in half term and will be offering a free ‘Early Signs of Spring’ trail around the grounds".  

 

 

06 Dec 25 - Big Park Tidy

 

We'll now be running our annual end-of-season Big Park Tidy on Saturday 6 December.  This replaces the session originally planned for 2 November. Usual arrangements: wear old clothes and sensible footwear.  Brooms, shovels etc can be provided - but if you can bring your own, better still!

 

We should be in full swing from around 10.30 'til the job is finished. Just turn up.... see the home page for details about any possible last-minute change due to inclement weather. Refreshments available as usual.

03 Dec 25 - FoPR Public meeting

 

Our next public meeting will be at the usual location of the Scout Hut, Brickfield Road SO17 3AE, at  7.45pm, complete with mulled wine and mince pies. See the agenda  here.
